I’m a twenty-two year old from Canada who has struggled with different forms of self injury for most of my life. Anxiety, borderline personality disorder and very disordered eating have played a part in the whirlwind of mental illness that has consumed my life for far longer than I would have liked. However, towards the end of 2010 I made the decision to recover from the various afflictions and have since been working my hardest and accepting all of the help that has been offered to me for such a long time. I’m currently going through a Dialectical Behavior Therapy program and have been working very hard to apply the skills to my daily life.

I intend to go back to school and work towards becoming a psychologist so that I am able to work directly with those who have been in situations I once found myself in get the help they need.
